Whew, it has been a tough time in the fire and just when you thought the flames were done, another bundle was thrown on to restock the heat.
I have a new respect for the Bible story of the King and the 3 friends of Daniels is the furnace, and much as they experienced. HE joined me in the flames and helped me keep the Faith that I would not be destroyed and would someday walk out of the fire no worse for the ware, because it was not the fire of reproof, instead of destroying me it, sealed me and strengthened some cracks, I am new and improved, stronger than ever before and Shiny :), because I reflect HIM!. He made me and only He can "remove" things from my life and my heart!.
The promise of Romans 8:28 and the Psmalms that speaks of Him collecting our tears are so precious in times like these. The visual and imagery focused thinking of our similarity to clay is so powerful, remember water is removed from the clay in the "firing process" and "hardening" and "shining of the surface" finishes the product! when repairs are needed to a piece of pottery it is sanded to remove the "finish" and water is added to "soften" the clay so it is workable and can be repaired and strengthened.
