Valentine's Day 2009- The Day to Show Love

This is the 16th Valentine's Day I have shared with my husband, and the 21st I have shared with my first love and best friend. We dated for 3 1/2 years before we got married, (tomorrow {2-15-1992})but, both of us knew at the first date, we WERE getting married. It was as close as love at first sight as I believe in. My life flashed before my eyes. I saw this clean cut, Solid character man, sweet, family oriented, non-vain and pretentious, protector, provider, awesomely intreging and interesting to talk with, caring and nurturing with his dog, with the coolest, deepest dimples when he smiled, which was often and that southern draw of his made me think of all the words with the ..ice, and r's in them I could work into the conversation. {LOL} PERFECTION!!!



Love is the funniest thing on earth. They say God has a sense of humor and I think love is Gods design to create laughter in us when we see how contrasting our thoughts and ways are when shown beside His ways and thoughts. When we use Gods model for our hearts power and strength we are able to Love like He does and like He encourages us to in scripture. When to revert back to our fleshy ways, well the results are not always good, pretty or without scares and wounds. I Corinthians 13:4-6 shows us God's Way and Thoughts of Love:

Love is long suffering and kind; Love does not envey; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up, does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil, does not rejoice in inquity, but rejoices in the truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

In constant contrast with our earthly and fleshy version of the things we do to show (Remember: Faith is believing in things that we do not see, confidence is the existence even weh we do not have tangible proof) our human efforts to make the target of our hearts desire feel like the most important and desired person in the world. We want to see our efforts effects make the person know that our desire for them and our feelings about them have a pull on them and inspire them to feel special whenever they think of us and our efforts or whenever something shows up from us, (which for me is often, little and quite unique like CD's strategically created to say something special left in the car CD player, crazy and mushy notes left in strange and conspicous places, little trinkets with a coded message, oh the fun..). If we do it with the right attitude we actually act out the scripture. Even when things are not the fairytale we had invisioned, we still have this driving force to try to be there for our companion, we want to see them happy and confident in us, we want to be able to change their mood and feelings. Even when they do things we cannot help ourselves to not be happy about them suffering consequences. That is when we know we love them. Our hearts desire is this persons success and happiness. We desire to effect this person for the better. And when we are with a person that shares this "view" and desires the same for us that is PERFECTION!! and much better than any confection and much easier on our diets and calorie counts.

And as with any gift or character building guideline that Christ gives us, Love has benefits, protections and PROMISES!! LOVE NEVER FAILS!!!! 1 Corinthians 13;9.

John 3:16 is to remind us how much we are loved, and that is our foundation and example of how far our love is designed to be stretched and how much we are to desire and purpose in our hearts to endure in the Name of LOVE, aka Jesus Christ.

Whoa Hoo!!! Finally answers, some respect and progress!!!

The visit today went well. The process of elimination and the length this has been going on went well to push her to listen and look at the records. Even though MOST of the time things are not significant enough to cause a problem there are the SOME!! times that they do. This journey has been long and painful but, it is paying off we have eliminated many things, address and fixed a couple and now the choices are very clear and things do have to be tested because it has been going on so long and is causing so much problems now.

The best part is the "Buzz" words and pitfalls did not even come up AND she agreed that two of her diagnosis were wrong! WHOA HOO!!! Respected and agreed with all in the same day.

The best news is the issues are evident and easily treated, unfortunately medication is going to be needed. The best part is my research and homeopathic remedies are paying off and things should be getting better soon. I will write a better post later but for now we just have to setup some tests and then make plans once we know which direction we are moving. My fears have been relieved and I will start acting alittle more with it soon :). Comfort and strength in my left side will be possible and for that I am so thankful.

Last night there was a moon similar to this, it was really bright and beautiful and would sail behind the clouds and then come back out clear. I love sunsets and moons they are like little goody messages from God. Yesterday was a pretty rough day and I was kind of yelling at God I want a sign you are listening to me! I doubt you read the blog but I have said everything in the post several times and well I have stopped repeating myself to God too. Kind of figure it is really pointless as he knew what I was going to say before I did, and He knows are heart so, HE KNOWS!!!!!

I was flipping through my notes and index cards and ipod and found some encouraging words, verses and a song, "A New Day Has Come" by Celione Dione. The link to the video is at the top. The first few lines of the song are very healing, and the You can let them refer to God. (that is how I think when I listen to this song).

Well today was a new day, new attitude, new perspective. Thanks to some divine intervention and inspiration. God IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!!, even when we are not even nice.

I guess the most healing and comforting thing is a question to ponder.

How do you see Christ? (actually think of an image: huge giant {distant}, Daddy figure with big arms and strong hands like when you were a small child, a "Spirit like being", or something else). How does Christ "deal" with you, {do you think he is inflicting things on you to "teach you a lesson", or "to make you make changes" only, does he comfort you? Or is he Daddy and he scolds you for something but when you are hurt, scared, or just want to be held; He scoops you up and cradles you in His arms.? and lastly, what if things are not going to go the way you think can God sustain you? Is anything too much for God to provide for? Can God equip you to do all the things He has brought you to? This image I have used many times, but this is significant to me.

Ephesians 3:20 He is able to do immeasureably more than we can ask or think.

Personal Prayer Request

This picture is a good indication of my mood and tone right now, hence no personal emails or phone calls. Right now it is really best to just pray and wait... I don't have the all important answers: "What's wrong", "what can they do", "who do you see for that??". Feel free to email me or comment below.

Prayer Request: My health-neurological issues are becoming an issue AGAIN and I have an appointment with my neurologist Thursday (Feb. 12). I have not been to her since 2006 so I am a new patient, hopefully she has memory loss and we can start a fresh. Our last visit was not the best and she was mad then that I had stopped so of my medication, she is probably going to be really mad that I have stopped all medication AND WILL NOT take any that I do not agree are effective, worth the side effects and is a must! If it can be done naturally it must be done!.

Pray for wisdom and discernment, a good attitude (mine is still not great) and well it is a new year so hopefully hers will be fine (progress!! positive thinking until proof of doom is delivered). Finances are a HUGE concern and frustration we have good health insurance but everytime I use it here in Carolina it is a fight to get them to file it correctly and coding is ALWAYS an issue. I am tired of having to fight for things to be done right and fairly (ah..that attitude again!)

Down here Wake Med is the force to be reckoned, it is a big group and is not always easy to find out the doctors are with them and that is another thing I am so wanting to avoid, but options are limited so... I guess the spirit issues need to be lifted up too; trusting God is going to "solve and cure" this finally AND in a way I am content with is my biggest prayer.

I am in a really selfish and unsubmissive mood on this and am really tired of dealing with these issues, the doctors and the pain/numbness, worrying about what it is and what will need to be done and there are just somethings I am not willing to say "Have you way, Lord", "It is well with my soul, if you choose...." Well Sad but True",(Metallica Song) it is not!!! I want either to be cured or correctly diagnosed and CONSERVATIVELY treated and for it not to cause anymore pain or discomfort. And I do know that whatever door God leads me through Thursday He will guide and comfort me through the entire process, but.... like Noah negoatiated with God, I want a little mercy and would prefer to have the easier and less scaring road for a change. I want a full nights sleep, to wake up and feel rested. I want to be able to complete a thought and what comes out of my mouth is what I thought I said. (very comical but quite annoying and dangerous in some situations), I want to be spasm/pain free, and to have feeling in the left side of my body ALL the time, Waaaaa. Waaaaa .Waaaaa.

Oh, well the truth is not always pretty, appropriate or logical but it does set us free.

Truth is like a pearl it is priceless, but takes time and suffering to develop and be discovered.

Everyone is clammering about needing Change, Truth! We do need change but.. what kind of change? Who is going to change? What does Change mean? Are the benefits for everyone or just a few? Are you sure about that????

Obama said in an interview yesterday that "His plan needed to be passed because the people spoke in November and want this". No President Obama, SOME of the people spoke and endorsed all of your verbal promises but very few have read your statements for themselves in their entirety and understood exactly what you are saying.

The people want and voted for tax cuts!!! not tax credits that only some people get and that are hard to apply for. These CUTS are only for "Low-income and Middle-Class" (as determined by the President's definition which keeps changing. The people want changes in government, the want this partisan arguing and wasting time to stop, they want integrity back in government, they want the values and morals that the majority of the people have to rule government and not this global free for all that is being created in the falsehood of diversity.

We the peoople need to get involved and really see what we are voting for and allowing our House of Representatives and Senators do on our behalf.

We need to understand that most of us do not qualify as "Low-income or Middle-Class" therefore these tax credits are not for us. Yet we pay taxes and provide for these people.

We need to get real and realize the state of our Union is not good and will not change until we change and truly "Trust in God" and quit trying to see our plans made into reality.

We need to be asking questions. Why does education need more money when they "give it away" to fraud and waste?

The drop out rate in North Carolina is high, the educational system is not working. More money in the current system is not working. Do we really want to fight for them to get $4 BILLON more dollars to waste?????? Just because the kids are going to school are they LEARNING?? are they prepared to get jobs and succeed in life??? Many of the unemployed are unemployed because of the "unskilled labor jobs decreasing" and they lack the education for the jobs that are available. Education is important, the kids will not think so if the parents do not. How many of our Adults cannot read fluently above an 8th grade reading level? How many of our adults did not finish school?

HMMMM.... maybe that is something we can change and not need billions of dollars to do it!
