What do you want from Me????

Have you ever felt overwhelmed, alone, a tad bitter and completely exhausted trying to figure out what God wanted you to do, what he wanted from you. It does not have to be such a drudgery and heart wrenching experience. God does not try to hide his will from us, but he does wait for us to seek it, then He reveals it to us. Our perspective, our attitude and our thinking needs to change and this can be a great freeing experience. (This is the end of wisdom, and the start of my take from a conversation with God, if you want to skip to the solution scroll down to the Scriptures and allow God to take you own your own search, if you want to share in my journey continue, and see how God worked in me and then gave me these scriptures to live out as "instructions for peace and fullfillment)

Look at the last sentence, see all the ours in the statement if each our equals an hour of time, add them up and it is 8 hours!!!--we are working for ourselves! With so much "me, me, me" there is no room for anyone, so we feel alone, abandoned and unappreciated. With so much effort into me, then you have the things you have to do: laundry, cooking, cleaning, taking care of the kids and husband.

It is easy to see how we get overwhelmed, unfullfilled and bitter that we "see" others "having it all" and we are doing all this stuff we "think" we are supposed to do and then we do not have time to do the things we want to do and it is just not fair! Finally, we get to a point of utter frustration and we cry out to God, "What am I doing wrong that I deserve to be miserable, I want to do your will, I want your blessings and to fullfill my purpose, What do you want from me" and He answers!!! "I am glad you asked, next time do not wait so long, and do not WORK so hard and let me help you. If you would read your bible (My love note to you, the instruction manual) and talk to ME!! more we can avoid this heart wrenching times. I love you and have good things planned for you, better than you could plan for yourself. Do you ever listen to the prayers you say to me, or are they just words on your index cards? (OUCH!!!)

Get your cards out and let me talk to you about your purpose. Let's start at the source of the problem, YOUR plans and my Plans are not the same, Your thinking and My thinking are not the same and if you are trying to please me, Whose thinking has to be used???

1 Corinthians 2:11 For who among men knows the thought of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.

I have given you life, I have given you My spirit to lead you, to help you so you can understand my will and my word. Your life is not what is here on this earth, but in all things Praise and rejoice for it has been given to you.

Scriptures: "Instructions for peace and fullfillment"
Matthew 6:25 Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 28 So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lillies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say unto you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 29 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is and tomorrow is thrown into the ovens, will He not much more clothe you, O your of little faith?

You do not have to worry, you do not have to provide and make your way. Allow me to provide for you like I do the lillies of the valley, they do not WORK to be pretty and plentiful, they allow me to do the Work in them, and they reap the benefit. How much more can I work in you, if you will trust me and allow me to.

You want some reward, fullfillment promise of results (results that WILL materialize!!!)

Proverbs 16:20 He who heeds the word wisely will find good, and whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.

Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure, He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him

phillipians 4:7 The peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us...

Romans 8:28-31 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those He predestined, he also called; those he called; he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

Psalm 17:15 As for me, I will continue beholding your face in righteousness; I shall be fully satisfied when I awake beholding your form.

Nehemiah 8:10 Be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold.

Hebrews 4:3 We who have believed do enter that rest.

1 Corinthians 14:33 God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.

Okay I here you, but what am I to do when I am worried and do not feel peace???

Hebrew 4:16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive Mercy and find Grace to help us in our time of need.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from ME, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

I am so there, right now? Just sick and tired of waiting!...waiting on God-but maybe he is waiting on me.

Thanks for these thoughts. Today I will seek him earnestly with a new attitude and praise.

Thank you for writing this...it helps me!

Thank you for walking us through your thought process and God's Word! Thank you for the FREEDOM found in His Wisdom.

Even though His answer to "What am I doing wrong...?" stings the heart it is truth and tuth sets us free!

Thanks for sharing and being real to our frustrations and yours! I came here seeking what others do on Psalm Friday but I was blessed beyond the GREAT study of Jenifer's Psalm 18:it is so good!
So I needed to see how others respond or what they do on Psalm Friday!

I JUST LOVE YOUR TITLE and PHOTO, goin back to look around after I finish my Psalm Friday! Thanks!
