Oh, what a day.... Big changes...Bad changes..Sad Changes.

What a day!!! whew... I cry and fume alot but..oh man.. today was tough. It was like someone threw hot coles on me, smeared them around and then picked the burnt skin off. OUCH!!!! and then long lasting stings..... tears.. disbelief...FEAR!!!! Oh. MY GOD!!! {I mean that, with reverance and respect I was really calling out, not just saying it like it did not mean anything}WHAT IS GOING ON!!! How did this happen! No talk about it, no bills before the house and congress. EXECUTIVE ORDER!!! {What in the heck, can he do that????, but THEY said it would take time and we would be able to block this...}

(ignorance and dependance on other peoples knowledge and understanding will hurt everytime)

{Notice anything interesting????} Notice the countries that were effected by the Mexico City Ban. HMMMM!!!! Worth noting McCain adopted a child from China. Republicans mentioned adoption during the campaign. Most "Middle Class" and Wealthy families have adoption coverage or personal funds to adopt. Obama wants to "redistribute the Wealth" evidently that distribution is going to be overseas.. Remember the Wealthy tax cuts are expiring soon. and new tax laws are being written. HMMMM!!!!!!


WHAT??? THE U.S. GIVE!!!! to INTERNATIONAL FAMILY PLANNING GROUPS ...Abortion Services. This is not just allowing abortions, we already do that here in the United States of America, were most have the essentials like clothes, food, and shelter. No we are giving money to INTERNATIONAL AGENCIES that provide and educate on Abortions in FOREIGN COUNTRIES!!!! Abortions have decline in the United States, but there are children left without loving parents in the foster care system. But, now we have to spread our "RIGHTS campaign throughout the world to countries where women have chosen to value life take the sacrafice of childbirth and give up their babies for adoption instead of killing them before they are even recognized as children or abuse and mistreat them like the women here in the United States do. What is this going to do to the adoption programs? Why is it called a choice when the other side is not properly educated?


The Abortion issue here in the United states is Pro-life/Pro-choice. I laugh and ask, how can you choose when you do not have two options? it is to end the pregnancy by process of elimination based on the information the women knows (or has been told by others). Adoption is lengthy, scarry and if the family does not support the decison they could be kicked out and cut off. Where are they supposed to go? How are they supposed to pay for the prenatal care and the delivery? Even if they have insurance there are still out of pocket expenses. Pregnancy does not always come at the best times and with all the answers. This decision is usually made when the woman finds out she is pregnant and is scared and confused. If she had some processing time to think, if she had funding options, information, resources, someone to talk to that would listen and help her without worry about how this affected them. Why don't we have better programs??? Where are the "christians" and all those that oppose Abortion??? Look in the phone book for Pregnancy Hotline, Mental Health is a joke. In crisis where are people supposed to go???


We cannot "Make" people choose one way of the other, but we can offer information, options: "We can get you a place to stay, healthcare for you and the baby," (working mothers and married women of a household over $20,000/yr GROSS (before taxes){$833.00/2 weeks) will not qualify for assistance!!!!)


What are we doing to help prevent abortions? Preaching that to the women that they are less than human and they are sinning and shame on them! {NICE}

Another View of Motherhood (the one most see, thanks to the media)

These women are overwhelmed and scared, life as they know it is changing. Life is hard enough, they already do not have things they need and they have to bring another mouth into the world. Another responsibility. Motherhood is an awesome gift, but not when you are not healthy, are alone (even married women suffer isolation and unsupportive spouses and families). The vision of having your body stretched and all the side effects you hear about are not on many womens list of the top 10 things you wish for. If they work, this decision is very difficult, suffer through being uncomfortable, oversized (some jobs are not suitable for pregnant women) and risk loosing their job or being reassigned to another position. Then when the baby comes it is 6 WEEKS!! without pay for most people! for those that live from paycheck to paycheck that is 3 pay checks, 1 month and a pay period out of the next.

All the diapers and formula and other needs. It is no wonder many choose to not go through it... Information is scarce here in Carolina. The clinics are not "accessible" to anyone that is need of treatment, even if you get in you wish you had not gone there. The treatment is less than professional, even when you are paying.

Adoption is not well educated and easily accessible to all women. The parental rights here in the States prevent many babies from being adopted and force them into foster care where they are bounced around because even when a foster family wants to adopt them into their family they are not able to because of the lengthy and messing process of severing parental rights and keeping them severed. Look at all the horror cases of American Adoptions gone wrong and the biological parents getting the children back legally or terrorizing the adoptive family. Why not put money to the Foster Care and Adoption System here in the United States and take care of our own Child Abuse and Neglect epidemic before you make in a genocide on child. What happened to the saying "Children are our future".



Now look at these women in these FOREIGN countries who have so much less than woman have here in the United States, yet they have had no choice to end the pregnancy before. Thousands of babies have been adopted by American Families. There are orphanages full of children that need homes but are not adopted. This policy is about the quickest and easiest thing. The United States way of dealing with issues is to Claim a Right to do whatever you want and then through money at the quickest, easiest and most popular solution. We love to vote on stuff, being a Democracy and all.

If our money is going to a solution, lets make it a solution and not just an answer. Paying for the abortion is not a choice that should even be on the sheet. That is not an educated decision, that is a selfish and quick fix. Pay for contraceptives, Pay for medical care, Pay for education of ALL the women. How about funding the Adoption programs and make it easier for those that want the children to help these women and quickly adopt these children.

This song (She never cried in front of me by Toby Keith) is very good, listen to the words, watch the womans face and eyes. Just because we do not see a person's pain does not mean it is not intense and real. We need to be sensitive and understanding of the people we are around. How do they feel about things? How are they "REALLY" doing? We need to listen with our hearts (everyone has one and everyone is capable of caring, especially when they are a christian. Christ's heart breaks for people, he cares deeply for everyone, shouldn't we?)

Why is it that we can only tell someone is hurting when we see the tears? So, if someone does not cry they are not hurting? Who makes these stupid rules, and were is the compassion?( Another good song, "Everyone Needs Compassion") It is quite ironic, when you do cry, people cannot handle it and get irritated because they do not know what to do. They do not always say it, but they usually distance themselves or ignore the waterworks but, you can tell it makes people uncomfortable.

Why do we expect the hurting person to tell someone they are hurting? This world has made emotions and feeling for people a bad thing. Showing emotions is a liability, sign of lesser intellegence and a weakness. Well that is just uggggh! Enough is Enough, we are loosing people right and left. The hurting is all around, it is so sad to watch people (a strange obsession, but a real learning tool) and to see the walls and the distrust even among couples, families, friends. Psychological disorders, personality disorders, depression, suicide, and runaways are on the rise and the people left outside of this hurting persons life do not understand.

The basic human needs of Love, Acceptance, and Security are necessary for normal daily existence. Not an abundant and fullfilling life, just to exsist and function. When one of these needs is unmet or denied for any amount of time, our human brain develops negative messages and then behaviors develop from those messages.


Rejection and disapproval is one of the most destructive and wounding experiences we face as humans. It can be blamed for many of the negative thought processes that become behaviors. An example, someone that is either truly rejected or preceives rejection (disapproval) can develop many negative thought processes like "she is not worthy" "she is not attractive" and the beginning of body image issues and self estem problems arrise. Then they are at a disadvantage of ever feeling loved, accepted and secure because they have "learned" they are not, because they are not worth it. And where one negative thought is another is coming quickly and two negative thoughts are enough to bring a life into chaos {lack of order (disorder)}, the pattern is set, and a cycle will ensue if something is not done. This is why God warns us in several scriptures to "watch out for the temptations", "renew our minds", "do not allow a foot hold to make our foot slip". But, if we do HE is always right there with us!!

1 Corinthians 3:16
Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God's Temple, God will destroy him, for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple. (As christians we have precious cargo!! Christ is alive AND in us!!!) (We have a protection on us, stronger than scotchguard, the hurt and the dirt still gets on us but!!! It wipes right away, with alittle PRESSURE and some blotting (tears :)???

Our christian walk can help with these issues, but sometimes these things happen in churches, and by Christians. After, all Christians are human, but the connection between them and God make it hard to embrace God because of the treatment by God's People. Many a hurting person has left church and has a negative attitude toward the Bible and God, because it only "brings them down and makes them feel worse". Their perception is all ascue, because of all the negative messages, misconceptions, misunderstandings, the rejection and isolation have removed any self worth they had and they are angry and confused and desperately want to feel whole.

"What can make them whole again"? NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS!

They need prayer for them,and with them! They need to have their structure repaired, they mind renewed and the Truth will light their life.

Christ Jesus is all they need, it is what they really want, they just cannot risk another rejection another wound. They have to protect themselves from being hurt again, they are not consciously thinking about hurting anyone else, they are just trying to get away from the threat, avoiding hearing the voices "you are not worth their time" "you are not worth the trouble" "you are not as good as we are". It is not that these things are always said to them, but the attitudes and the fact that they are not told. "You are important", "You are attractive", "You are worthy" "No matter what You are loved, because Christ said, He Loves you! He sent his son to die for YOU! You are HIS daughter, he is the KING of KINGS, you are the Daughter and therefore a princess!

So what does that have to do with us? We are the Body of Christ in a very literal way. Reread 1 Corinthians 3:16 again, "He abides in us" so we need to be there for the hurting ones, we need to pray (real heartfelt prayer) with them and for them, we need to take them to Jesus. If they are standing in front of you with gapping, deep, bleeding wounds wouldn't you take them to the hospital for emergency care? Well, spiritual emergency care, is taking them to prayer, if they refuse to go, you can still pray for them and making sure they can see Jesus and eventually they will receive the Love that they need.

Helping People can be Costly but, the benefits are Eternal!

The last few years have been "very interesting" to say the least. I am diligently working on being positive and less complainy so I will leave it at that. I am the kind of person, that looks for something to take away or learn from every experience. I was trained young to look for things and improve or fix them and that has been a good skill to have in some areas and very "challenging" and isolating in others. Helping people comes natually, when you are the oldest of four children and your parents are always helping someone else. Children love to imitate and repeat things and do what their parents do. If my parents heard that some needed, we were looking around the house to see if we had what they needed, and my dad was making calls trying to find someone who could help. We were equally blessed by others, we just thought that is what people do, you have extra turnip greens, I have an extra pork roast we swap.

As an adult this way of life kind of evaporated. People that needed stuff were always "evaluated"first to see why they did not have what they needed and if it was decided that they did something to make them lack, then well "they are reaping what they sowed". I always hated hearing that, I often questioned if that is really what the scripture meant and just received snorts and eyes rolling. I learned quickly that helping too much, got you "known" but not in a good way. At work I was nicknames "Polyanna" it took me a while to figure out this was not a very complimentary comment and that my efforts were not well received by those around me.

But, then life turned the corner, as it tends to do and I found myself on the needing end and well, I do not know if it was the area, or just times but help was not that easy to find, and well I learned so things about people that I really admired that I wish I had not. I learn pretty quick and I was not easily detered, (back then) I found what I needed got back on tract and decided I would rather be a "Polyanna" and known for being "usable" than to be unuseful and to watch people suffer and do nothing to help. I just did not understand how that could be right. That is how I read the scriptures and I was going to do, what I wish someone was available to do for me.
Loved me like Jesus and told me the Truth with Scripture that would have lead me to the Saviors feet. That is what I needed.

Praying is the first step to helping people. Pray for them and pray for yourself "Lord, soften me, wise me up to your leading, use me if you chose or move me so that you can get to this brother or sister and heal and strengthen them" If it is your will Lord, I am here, send and use me." Be in the word, Be walking the straight path, above reproach, get your Armor shined and ready. Helping people is not for the faint of heart and it is not a popularity contest or to build your reputation. If you do it right, they should credit it all to God, and not really remember you at all. All to Him, I owe! We are just extending the Love that Christ has given to us every day with our breath.

Anything you do without Love, is as if you did nothing.

Tomorrow is the first day of Fall, and the holidays are just around the corner, these are the hardest times for some people, even those that have salvation don't fully know Christ's power over their lives and their circumstances. They do not understand the full blessing of Christ's love and that all they have to do is call on Him, and believe they can be lifted from their pit of despair. The surroundings may not change, but Christ is there with them and they can have joy and peace even in their storm, because these come with Christ.
